Geoff grew up with a true understanding of leadership and the power of teams. His father was a two sport, professional athlete, a small college hall of fame basketball coach and championship winning high school basketball coach. He also managed a semiprofessional baseball team. Geoff continued this legacy by playing on and being appointed captain of numerous sports teams. With this as a foundation he has been a leader, mentor and coach for most of his life. Teams and leadership and coaching have been a major part of all aspects of his life.
Geoff brought these personal experiences, as well as those learned from his father, into a business career with United Parcel Service and FedEx. He is also the founder and president of several companies, ranging from two regional package delivery companies, a financial consulting firm, a restaurant franchise and a not-for-profit community service organization, and finally two consulting firms specializing in executive coaching, leadership development and team development. Geoff coaches executives in the Transportation, Publishing, Legal, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Investment Banking, Not For Profit and Internet companies, to name a few. He also works in the Leadership Program at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, and is an adjunct faculty member at the Center For Creative Leadership (CCL) in Greensboro, NC). His clients include managers, scientists, engineers, marketing directors, sales executives, bankers, attorneys, portfolio managers, Ph.D. and MD's. He coaches clients in England, Germany, Scotland, the Netherlands, Ohio, New York City, Boston and North Carolina.

His mission is to maximize executive and team effectiveness, which leads to higher levels of productivity, superior performance and job satisfaction for executives and employees, and the achievement of organizational goals. He is committed to facilitating change to enhance the success of companies across the spectrum from local to global.

Geoff's strength lies in his having "been there and done that." His successes and failures allow him to bring a unique perspective to bear on the needs of his clientele.
